Welcome to Starr & Bodill African Safaris.

Our safari areas are located near Fort Beaufort and Cathcart in the Eastern Cape of South Africa and consists of concessions located within the KAT and ECCA Conservancies with numerous other concessions close to both. Our hunting area consists of over 200,000 total acres. The species available range from the tiny Steenbok and Duikers to the deadly Cape Buffalo and just about everything in between.

Hunting in the disease free Eastern Cape is a very unique experience. The terrain ranges from rolling grasslands to thick bush and mountains. Its native species are also unique like East Cape Kudu, Cape Eland, Black Wildebeest and Mountain Reedbok, just to name a few. Our modern lodge (under contsruction and to be completed in January 2012) is located near Cathcart and will provide all the comforts of home.

Our safari company is owned and operated by three people, Dwaine & Britney Starr (father & daughter) based in the U.S. and Louis Bodill who is based in the Eastern Cape of South Africa. We pride ourselves in the service we provide and our attention to detail.
