It all starts with the USA based team of Dwaine and Britney Starr who are known for their attention to detail. They will assist you with the planning of your adventure long before you depart from your home. Once you have booked your safari and secured a date Dwaine and Britney will answer any questions and provide you with the necessary printed materials. They will also arrange for your flights through Custom Travel, cover all paperwork requirements needed and supply you with a blank gun application (SAPS 520) as well as a sample and guidelines for what needs to be filled out on the applications.
Once you leave home, you will be armed with the confidence and knowledge that your upcoming adventure and your every movement has been prepared for. When you arrive in Johannesburg you will be met at the airport and assisted with retrieving your guns from the SAPS office by an Afton Guest House representative. You can enjoy spending the night at the Afton Guest House and the following day you will again be assisted by the Afton representative as you depart for the flight to East London. When you arrive in East London you will be picked up at the airport and assisted with luggage and guns by one of our professional hunters and then taken to our comfortable modern lodge.
